Since 1974, Sailing Specialties Inc.(SSi) has been providing cost effective alternatives for a wide variety of applications currently using steel, fiberglass and other materials. SSi features design services to develop your products or ideas using the latest in high performance engineered thermoplastics. These materials can provide pre-colored high gloss finishes for your products with excellent mechanical properties that will withstand years of harsh environmental conditions.

SSi’s design team can develop accurate prototype parts in hours using solid model CAD drawings or by digitizing your existing products. Prototype molds are typically machined in hours using one of our five axis cnc routers. Thermoform tooling is cost effective with short lead times from concept to production.

All materials are environmentally friendly and all scrap can be recycled. SSi’s manufacturing teams use lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques to maximize value added operations from the front office to the loading dock. Our product line teams concentrate on quick setups for forming and assembly operations enabling cost effective short runs.
